Find Your Panty Size
Wearing the right pair of panties can certainly make
your day, or shall we say wearing the wrong pair of panties can make your day
really bad. If your underwear are falling down or giving you the proverbial
"wedgie" it can be the most distracting part of your day. The good
news is that all of this can be avoided, by fitting yourself with correctly
sized underwear!
There is no perfect science to fitting underpants,
there are so many things to factor into finding the perfect fit. The
information provided below will hopefully help you to find out what size will
be best for you. (Underwear sizes
vary depending on name brand and type so this information is not going to give
you the best fit every time it is only a guide.)
Fitting Your Underwear
Grab a tape measure cause you'll need it!
Finding your panty size
is fairly easy.
Measure
your waist
Wrap the tape measure
snugly, but without cinching, around the natural indentation or break at your
waist. If you can’t find this curve, bend to the side and the crease will show
you where to measure. This is your waist measurement. Write it down, you’ll
need it in a moment.
Measure
your hips
Wrap the tape measure
around the fullest part of your hips. Use the mirror to make sure the tape
measure is straight completely around. The tape measure should be snug and
parallel to the floor. Write this down as well.
Example: If your waist
measured 28, and your hips measured 37, your panty size will be either Medium
or Size 6. See the chart below to help you figure your panty size...

Fitting
Points: Here are the must haves for
your next pair of panties...*Comfortably fitting crotch
The
crotch of your panties should fit comfortably against your body. The fabric
should not bunch up in the front or the back, and should definitely not be too
tight. If your panty has a front horizontal crotch seam, it should be visible
from the front and not slip backwards. If it does, check to see that your panty
isn't on backwards.
*Waistband
is snug but not too tight
If
your waistband bunches up or rolls, you have the wrong size, try a size
smaller. You will know when you have the right size because your band will stay
in place and will be comfortable.
*Legs
are snug but not too tight
Panty
legs should not be so tight that they make marks along your thighs. Leg openings
should be arched evenly on both legs and the fabric should not be twisted or
bunched. If you are still having trouble with tight legs, try a panty with a
high cut leg style such as French cut.
*Buttocks
is cupped
Assuming
you are not wearing a thong, the proper fit around the buttocks is balanced,
symmetrical, covered and cupped. If not, you need a bigger size. Also, if some
of your current panties are riding up, the elastic is probably shot and they
need to be replaced.

you deserve
